How to become a registered childminder
Who is a registered childminder?
A registered childminder is someone who looks after children on domestic premises for more than two hours in any one day for reward. It must not be the home of any of the children being cared for.
The 'reward' means any form of payment or exchange of services. For example, a childminder looks after someone's child and the parent of the child repairs the childminder's car.
