CORE STRATEGY UPDATE

Adoption Status

The Council is pleased to announce that the Core Strategy was adopted at the Full Council meeting on 10th November 2010. 

The adopted Core Strategy incorporates the minor and further minor changes put forward by the Council at submission stage and during the examination process. These changes have also beeen considered by the Inspector.

The Inspector found no need to make any recommendations that require changes to the Core Strategy which confirms teh document to be sound. The Inspector concludes that the Enfield Plan Core Strategy provides an appropriate basis for planning of the borough over the next 15 years, The Inspector's report can be viewed below.

There will now be a statutory 6 week legal challenge period which expires on 22 December 2010. Please see the Core Strategy Adoption Statement (below) for more information.

Local Development Framework Proposals Map (November 2010)

The Core Strategy is supported by a proposals map which updates policy designations. An interactive verison will be available shortly. A PDF version is available to download in the interim.
