New Southgate Masterplan

Shaping New Southgate

New Southgate is one of our Regeneration Areas which means we are working with local residents and businesses to identify what should be improved. We have prepared the New Southgate Masterplan which sets out all our ideas for changing the area. The masterplan is a Supplementary Planning Document in our Local Development Framework. This means it is part of the planning system. Any new planning applications in New Southgate must be in conformity with the masterplan.

Adoption of the New Southgate Masterplan

The New Southgate Masterplan was agreed for adoption in December 2010. You can view the plan and supporting documents below:

The draft masterplan

The draft masterplan was available to view and comment on from 17 March 2010 to 9 June 2010. You can view the draft masterplan and accompanying documents below:

What happens next?

We are working to implement the different projects in the masterplan. Once available, the Delivery Plan will provide more detailed information on these projects. In the meantime please view the Shaping New Southgate Newsletter for an update.
