Are you overcrowded?
Tenants renting privately
If you are renting privately and overcrowded, living with limited space or need to move to larger accommodation, Enfield Council may be able to help.
Tenants on a low income or in receipt of local housing allowance may be entitled to claim for further help with rent payments. This may help you to move to a more appropriate, larger property.
Renting privately means you may only have to wait a few weeks for a home of your choice.
You can choose:
- a private rented home that suits your family's needs;
-
the area, it does not have to be in the Enfield Borough;
-
the type of property you want, it can be a house with a garden.
