Seaside and Country Moves

If you are an Enfield Council tenant and want to move, you may be able to move nearer the seaside or to the country. 

If you are over the age of 60 you may want to take advantage of the Seaside & Country Homes Scheme.

Whether you choose the country or the seaside there are bungalows and low rise flats on offer.  The developments are specifically for households without children.  The properties are all managed by Housing Associations. 

We may be able to help if you rent your home from Enfield Council or a housing association, meet the age criteria and are interested in either moving to the country or seaside.  You may also get assistance with the cost of removals and perhaps we could arrange removals for you. 

Please note that priority will be given to those tenants who are vacating larger dwellings.
