Department for Transport – Additional funding

Alongside Enfield Council’s continued capital investment of £8.45m in the highway infrastructure, of which £4.55m was set aside for carriageway improvement works, an additional £409,000 of funding from Department for Transport was made available earlier this year for further carriageway repairs.

The following schemes have been delivered as part of the additional funding made available from The Department for Transport.

Baker Street (service road), Bounces Road (Exeter Road to Montagu Road), Browning Road EN2, Fore Street, Green Dragon Lane (Hadley Way to Vega Road), Mollison Ave (Bilton Way to Brancroft Way), Limes Avenue, Meridian Way, Reservoir Road and Wood Ride.

Enfield Council continues to invest in its highway infrastructure.
