Paying your council rent

If you are a council tenant, it is essential that your rent is paid on time. If you are having difficulty paying the rent, please ask for help as soon as possible. You may be entitled to housing benefit to help with your rent even if you are working.

 

You can pay your rent in the following ways (you need your rent account reference details):

 

At any shop displaying the Payzone sign

 

You need:
  • A cash or a debit card
  • Your rent payment card
With direct debit or standing order
  • You can pay from your bank or building society account.
With cash

 

You can pay at any of these locations
  • Civic Centre, Silver Street, Enfield, EN1 3XN
  • Ordnance Road Library 'handi till', 645 Hertford Road, Enfield, EN3 6ND
  • Any post office
With cheque, debit or credit card
