Room rates for April 2012 to March 2013
Property size criteria
Under LHA, tenants receive a standard allowance based on the number of bedrooms they or their family needs (maximum of 4 bedrooms).
One bedroom will be allowed for each of the following:
- A single adult (an adult is someone who is aged 16 or over)
- Every adult couple
- Any two children of the same sex aged under 16
- Any two children, regardless of sex, aged under 10
- Any other child
These are the Local Housing Allowance rates for Enfield from April 2012 which are based on the 30th percentile of rents. These rates are now updated annually. The table below shows the rates from 1st April 2012 to 31st March 2013. For more information benefit changes see Housing Benefit changes.
