Washable nappies scheme

Washable nappies

Save ££s with washable nappies

Move onto washable nappies and save money and help save the environment.

This incentive scheme helps you in choosing and trying cloth nappies. Forget the old days of boiling terry towelling and fiddly safety pins, washable nappies are now easy to wash, look great and stay on without needing pins!

  • Most babies get through around 5000 nappy changes before being potty trained. The cost of buying this many disposable nappies is about £720 compared to the cost of washable nappies which is between £325 and £505.
  • Most disposable nappies go to landfill and do not biodegrade meaning the impact on the environment is enormous. Even when washing is taken into account the environmental impact of the washable nappies is very small in comparison.
  • Disposable nappies contain lots of chemicals, plastics and adhesives compared to natural disposable nappies.

Modern washable nappies are a lot easier to use than the nappies those we learnt how to crawl in. They come in funky designs and your baby will love them too.

Parents and parents-to-be that register will receive an information pack containing practical information, handy hints and tips as well a cheque for £54 once you have purchased the nappies.
