The Library Service charges for items returned late.

Charges and concessions

• A daily charge is made when items borrowed from libraries are not returned or renewed on or before the due date.

• There are concessionary charges for some borrowers such as teenagers, those over 60 years old and the disabled.

• Children are not charged on a daily basis. When their items are overdue by two and four weeks, we will send their parent/ guardian a reminder notice. A small charge is levied for each reminder.

Reminders

• Our pre-overdue service notifies users by email that their items are due back in two days. Please contact your nearest library to take advantage of this service.
