Breakfast Clubs

A Breakfast Club is a service that provides children with a wholesome breakfast and other activities in a safe environment before class.

• Most breakfast clubs are located in schools.
• Most breakfast clubs only take children from their own school.
• Your child's school can provide you details about its breakfast club and other local clubs.

School-based breakfast clubs are either operated by the school or another company.

When are they open?

Generally from 8am until the start of the school day.

Do the schools have a waiting list?

Some schools may do.

How much does a Breakfast Club cost?

It can cost between £1 and £10 for a week. The cost depends on the Breakfast Club's services and opening hours.

What if my child's school does not have a breakfast club?

You can ask the school about other local clubs. You can call Informed Families to enquire about:

• Registered childminders who drop off children at their local schools
• Off-site breakfast club or other local schools that may allow your child to attend their club.
