'I Love Edmonton' Photography Competition 2011

The London Borough of Enfield, in partnership with St. Modwen, owners of Edmonton Green Shopping Centre, and Edmonton Camera Club are hosting a photography competition for residents of Enfield. The competition is partnered by the Enfield Advertiser.

Whether you're just starting out, it's your hobby or you have a wealth of experience under you belt, this competition could be your lucky chance to gain creative recognition in Enfield and beyond. Plus you could win a digital camera worth £250.00!

All you have to do is submit a digital image, in either colour or black and white in response to the following theme:

"All the world lives in Edmonton"

Your image can be of a person, family member/s, a place, a building or something that you think represents the diversity and vibrancy of Edmonton There is also a second chance to win a digital camera with our special category 'Dance gets everywhere in Edmonton' in association with Big Dance 2012. This is a special prize for images representing dance, movement and performing arts in Edmonton. Big Dance is London's Legacy Trust UK Programme led by the Greater London Authority in partnership with Arts Council England.

20 images will be selected by the judging panel that will include the Chair of Edmonton Camera Club, The Worshipful the Mayor of Enfield, and the Edmonton Green Shopping Centre Manager. The short listed images will be printed onto A1 banners and displayed at the Enfield Town Autumn Show on the 3rd & 4th September in Enfield Town Park and then for a further month in Edmonton Green Shopping Centre.

The three images with most votes in each category will win a prize. The 'Dance gets everywhere in Edmonton' category will be voted for separately, the image with the highest number of votes winning the prize. Everyone who votes will be entered into a prize draw to win a digital camera worth £200.00.

There are three categories for the competition:

• Adult (18 and Over)
• Young People (10- 17 Years)
• Dance gets everywhere in Edmonton (all age ranges)
