What can Friends Groups expect from the Local Authority?

The opportunity to be involved in the maintenance and development of their park.
Recognition and acknowledgement of the needs and aspirations of users, partners and stakeholders. 
Continuing clearly defined support from a named Outreach Officer and the wider Outreach Team, not minute taking, or billposting.
The attendance of an Outreach Officer, Grounds Maintenance Team Manager and a Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) at Friends Group meetings.
Easier access to the Council and other key external contacts.
An annual opportunity to apply for funding for approved projects from a £10k Council fund.
Assistance with identifying and applying for external funding.
To be actively listened to and for your views to be taken into account and respected.
