Sack collections

If as a result of our survey you do not have room to store bins then we will put you onto a sack based collection where we will provide you with two blue recycling and two grey refuse sacks to use each week which will give plenty of room for most households refuse and recycling.

 

 

 

Sacks will be delivered to you every six months.

The following items can be put into your blue recycling sack:

• Paper (e.g. Newspaper, magazines, junk mail, telephone directories)
• Cardboard (e.g. Corrugated cardboard, cereal packets, egg boxes). Please flatten all boxes.
• Glass bottles and jars
• Food tins and drink cans
• Empty aerosols
• Plastic bottles and household plastic packaging
• Drink cartons (e.g. Tetra Paks, milk cartons and juice cartons)

Please ensure all items are clean and free from food.

 

 

Please put all other items into your grey refuse sack.
