 WALK, CYCLE, JOG in ENFIELD

We are surrounded by 123 parks and open spaces in Enfield with a
magnificent 900 hectares of green space to enjoy.

Walking is a great way to get fit and introduce physical activity into your
daily life.
It is suitable for all ages and all levels of ability and it is never too late to start.
Half an hour of purposeful walking two to five times a week will reduce your risk of heart disease, diabetes and strokes, and will help maintain/reduce weight.

In the run up to 2012 Enfield Sports Development Team are keen to get as many of our residents to include exercise in their daily lives so we have introduced cycling and jogging events to our walks brochure. This programme brings all the guided walks, cycling and jogging events together that are going on both in the Borough and just outside it, during the coming summer months.

The majority of them are FREE and have a dedicated leader that
could take you to parts of Enfield you have never been to before.

If you would like to be on our mailing list for the next edition or would like more information, please email sport@enfield.gov.uk or contact the Sports Development Team on 020 8379 3762
