London Borough of Enfield

Services for temporary accommodation tenants

Enfield is a place where lots of people want to live. As with many London boroughs, Enfield Council has a serious shortage of properties to let to people who are on the Housing Register.

There are never enough council or housing association properties for everybody who wants one.

Enfield Council is committed to preventing homelessness and reducing the use of temporary and emergency accommodation. The council want people to live in a settled home.

The Council allocates council or housing association properties to those in greatest need.
