Two Enfield child care providers: Blue Planet Montessori Nursery School and Leading Strings Pre School received a Grade 1 Outstanding judgement in their latest Ofsted inspection reports*, which shows that the provision is of exceptionally high quality.

In the case of Blue Planet Montessori Nursery School, the Inspector highlighted the highly effective safeguarding procedures ensure that children are protected and that they have excellent settling in procedures.

In the case of Leading Strings Pre School, the Inspector highlighted that children are very happy and highly secure and has developed excellent and effective procedures for safeguarding children's welfare.

This fantastic achievement supports Community Access, Childcare and Early Years (CACEY) and the School Improvement Service's shared vision of parents and carers empowered to be able to choose the best quality environment for their child to learn through play, both in the setting and at home. We firmly believe that all children should be able to play and learn in a fun environment with adults who understand and care about them. That's why we have developed Enfield Quality Matters, a tool specifically designed for Enfield nurseries and pre-school / playgroups to help them improve their practice and become – or remain – outstanding settings.
