The Joint Service for Disabled Children (JSDC) is an important partnership developed by Enfield 's Children's Trust. They work with 'Our Voice Parent Forum', the Disability Forum and other voluntary groups and organisations to support and promote opportunities for all disabled children and their families in Enfield.

- JSDC have put together some information is for families living in the London Borough of Enfield who have a disabled child aged between 0 to 17 years. Leaflets have been written to help you understand what level of support you may receive.
- Children and young people are eligible for support and services if they have a physical or mental impairment, which has a substantial and long-term effect on their ability to carry out day-to-day activities.
- This may include a physical or learning disability, a hearing or visual impairment.
- It includes children with autism and Asperger's Syndrome and children who may have challenging behaviour as a result of their learning disability.
- It also includes children who have complex health needs and who may have palliative, life limiting or a life-threatening condition.
