This section tells you about services which help you keep your home warm and secure.

If you have a housing-related query your first port of call should be the Housing Advice Team at Enfield Council. This Advice Team provides advice, practical help and advocacy on a wide range of housing-related issues. In particular, they provide a service to private tenants concerning their rights, rent problems, housing benefit problems, defending possession proceedings, harassment and illegal eviction.

The Team also assist homeless people and couples without children who are not owed a re-housing duty under the homelessness law to find alternative accommodation, e.g. private rented.
