An exhibition to celebrate the heritage of three generations of Polish people living in Enfield

Little Poland in Enfield Stories of Three Generations of Polish People An exhibition to celebrate the heritage of three generations of Polish people: those who settled in the London Borough of Enfield after the Second World War; those who arrived in the period 1960s - 1990s; and immigrants who arrived after Poland joined the EU in 2004. This exhibition, which will include photographs and artefacts related to the Polish community in Enfield, their history, customs and celebration is hosted by Enfield Museum Service and organised in conjunction with A. Mickiewicz Polish Saturday School in Enfield. It is a part of the Polish heritage project Stories of Three Generation of Polish Immigrants funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund. Children's Football Development Programme (ages 4-8)

Ministry of Football is a children's football development programme. We are experts at creating positive football learning environments. We develop confident, creative, skilful football players. Our coaches are UEFA qualified, and have vast experience of helping young children enjoy learning. We believe that children learn best while playing, and we use fun small-sided games to maximise learning opportunities and promote creativity. We have a proven track record of developing young footballers for local teams and for professional club academies. We welcome all children, boys and girls, regardless of ability or experience. Ages 4 to 8.

Through structured lesson plans, yoga postures, breathing and relaxation techniques are woven together into exciting stories and games. Children are taken on an African Adventure or go on heroic journeys, all without leaving the room. Classes can be for children alone to take part or alternatively as a class with parental involvement; through our exercise driven yoga classes we can offer them a fun learning experience and great physical work out!
