Enfield Council Cultural Services team and the Campaign for Drawing are proud to present a unique opportunity for creative people to discuss creativity in their work and in the curriculum. Bringing together Heads, teachers, governors, with arts and creative industries practitioners. Excellent local and national speakers in a great North London venue. Join us to learn, plan, and draw ideas together. We are all part of what makes - Creative Enfield. FREE entrance including lunch and refreshments to all Enfield residents and Enfield teachers or governors. (NB. All welcome. Part of Family Learning Festival
In the Picture is an exhibition of paintings by famous children̢۪s book illustrators, such as Quentin Blake and Jane Ray. It is rare to find examples of people with disabilities in children̢۪s books and this exhibition helps to raise awareness by showing pictures representing children with various disabilities in a positive light. Enfield Light Opera (ELODS) sing Cole Porter in the Tony-award winning musical 'Kiss Me Kate'. Set in Baltimore in 1948, this perfect marriage of Shakespeare's Taming of the Shrew with Cole Porter's witty, sophisticated lyrics and unforgettable melodies is considered one of the greates musicals ever produced, and probably Porter's finest.
