This walk links some picturesque urban parks to the countryside, looking at the historical aspects along the way. Bring a packed lunch. Plan your return trip before attending (Cockfosters Tube nearby, then a 34 bus from Arnos Grove to return to Pymmes Park). Meet 10.00am outside Pymmes Park Visitor Centre, Pymmes Park, Victoria Rd (approx 2.30pm finish). Distance: approx. 7 miles. Wear stout footwear.
