In the Picture is an exhibition of paintings by famous children’s book illustrators, such as Quentin Blake and Jane Ray. It is rare to find examples of people with disabilities in children’s books and this exhibition helps to raise awareness by showing pictures representing children with various disabilities in a positive light. Event_Description: Nine artefacts representing everyday Somali life are currently on display in the Enfield Civic Centre confer! ence room along with displays celebrating 100 years of the Girl Guides, items from Enfields four twin towns and excavated finds from the site of Roman Enfield. We have set aside this time specifically for the public to access the conference room and enjoy the displays. Visitors will need to check in with the Civic Centre reception.
