In the Picture is an exhibition of paintings by famous children’s book illustrators, such as Quentin Blake and Jane Ray. It is rare to find examples of people with disabilities in children’s books and this exhibition helps to raise awareness by showing pictures representing children with various disabilities in a positive light. Meditation classes in Winchmore Hill introduce the basic meditation techniques and Buddhist ideas. Each class includes guided meditation, a short talk and time for qu! estions, followed by refreshments. Classes are open to all. No need to book in advance, just turn up.
