The Paediatric First Aid Course is designed for Childminders, Nannies, Playgroup personnel and anyone whose profession involves the care of infants and young children. This course complies with Ofsted National Standards relating to First Aid for people working with children and infants and Sure Start requirements for the department for children and families Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Training involves practical exercises and plenty of practice using infant and child size manikins and covers how to deal with emergency situations involving children and infants. This club is for young people aged 12+. It is a 9 week course which has different activities to do every week. These include, gardening, Egyptian history, arts and crafts, managing pocket money and film day. Refreshments are provided and parental permission may be required.
