Thinking About Adoption?

The need for adoptive parents to give permanent homes to children in North london and the surrounding London boroughs is as great as ever, according to the North London Adoption Consortium.

The group is preparing to hold its fourth annual open evening where anyone thinking about adoption can discover the rewards of becoming an adoptive parent and help ensure children find the right loving homes as quickly as possible.

The North London Adoption Consortium (NLAC) open evening will take place on Sunday 11th October 2009 between 2pm - 5pm, a month prior to National Adoption Week, which takes place between 9th - 15th November. The aim is to dispel some of the myths around adoption, especially around who can adopt.

Those who want to find out more about adoption are invited to come along to the Bernie Grant Arts Centre, Tottenham Green, London, N15 4RX to hear first-hand about adoption from the true experts, adoptive parents and adopted young people. More information can be found at www.adoptionnorthlondon.org or call 0208 379 8490.
