What is it?
The Enfield Observatory is a web-based service that holds a wide range of information relevant to Enfield borough. Statistics, reports and web links are available to download and view at www.enfield-observatory.org.uk.
The Enfield Observatory is the result of the working partnership between councils and organisations to share expertise, knowledge, and statistics.
Why does it exist?
It is important for everyone to be able to monitor the progress and changes within your borough. The Enfield Observatory provides the perfect platform for strategy makers and the general public alike, to keen an eye on changes that are happening across the borough.
It is essential to use dependable data when presenting statistics. The Observatory Website allows the public, as well as members of the Strategic partnership to access, analyse and present reliable and timely information in a user-friendly format.
How will I benefit?
The Observatory will meet users needs in a variety of ways. It is a tool with the ability to present data in a variety of information formats including mapping in 3 clicks, line, bar or pie charts, and in table format.
There is also a service team available to supply advice, training, or take part in commissioned research and analysis.
Enfield Youth Observatory
On 28th June 2007 the
Observatory launched the innovative Enfield Youth Observatory (EYO), an
on-line service that holds information about Enfield that children and
young people want to see, in a way they want to see it. The EYO, the first
of its kind in the country, engages young people and provides them with a
forum to express their views about local services. For more information
access the website at www.enfieldyouthobservatory.org.uk
Newsletter
Every few months a newsletter is published, informing users of new developments, publications, and training dates, as well as hints and tips for using the site.
