Enfield Festival of Cycling - FREE EVENT
Sunday 22nd June 2008 - 11 am till 5 pm - Lee Valley Athletics Centre
The event is aimed at promoting all aspects of cycling with particular emphasis on encouraging all sections of the community to take up or return to cycling. It is based around a number of stalls promoting cycling, including Enfield school of cycling, Dr Bike (free cycle check-ups), unicyclist, balloons and the star attraction Company of Cyclists’ Get Cycling Road Show, this gives people an opportunity to try out different types of bikes in a safe, exciting and supportive environment.

The Event
This year’s Festival of Cycling will be working in partnership with the Lea Valley Festival at the Lee Valley Athletics Centre, Lee Valley Leisure Complex.
The star attraction is the Company of Cyclists “Get Cycling Road Show” and there will be lots of stalls and activities promoting cycling.
The event takes place on Sunday 22nd June 2008 between 11am and 5pm at The Lee Valley Athletics Centre, Leisure complex, Meridian Way, Picketts Lock N9 OAS.

Feeder ride from Enfield Town: Meet 11am outside Enfield Civic Centre
Feeder ride from Edmonton Green: Meet 11am outside New Edmonton Leisure Centre (opp Edmonton Green Train Station)
If there is high demand, they will also offer an escorted ride to return to both these locations, at some point in the afternoon.
