FoI How to apply for information not included in the Publication Scheme

If the information you want is not included in the Publication Scheme you can apply to us in writing and we will provide you with it as soon as possible, providing it is not covered by any of the exemptions in the Act

You can post or fax your request to us. Please include:

• your name and address
• as clear a description as possible of the information you want to access (this will help us to provide you with the information you want as quickly as possible)
• the format in which you would prefer your – for example, e-mail, floppy disk, letter. If you need the information in a specific format (e.g. large type) please see the Access Assistance

If you know which department within the Council is likely to have the information you seek, please address your letter to the appropriate Director, as follows:
It will help us to respond most quickly and efficiently to your query if you write
‘Freedom of Information request’ on your letter, but you are not obliged to do so.
