Advice for Young People

If you live or study in the borough of Enfield, we are here to help you with things like: School, work, career planning and health issues. If you are aged between 13 and 19 or up to 25 if you have a learning difficulty or disability, then Connexions is for you.

Connexions will offer help, advice, information, support and practical help for life, work and personal development.

Connexions will help you find opportunities to do a range of activities including sport, art, music and volunteering.

Personal Advisers are there – when and where you need them – available by telephone, website or face-to-face on the high street and where you learn. We will usually try to make sure that you see the same person, which can be especially important if you are discussing things that are important to you.

Connexions is private, confidential, reliable, helpful and ‘on the ball’ – no passing from pillar to post.

Connexions Personal Advisers are qualified and experience and professionals who can help you deal with issues such as educational choices, career options, training needs, health problems, family relationships, bullying, truancy or any other issue that affects your life. They are based in schools, colleges and other organisations that work for and with young people.

Our Personal Advisers are here to support, advise and help you with whatever you need. They help by listening, putting you in touch with the right agencies and people and more importantly being there for you.
