Cycle Recycle - Edmonton Unity Hub
Do you have an old bike that you could give to a good cause? By donating your un-used or broken bike you will be part of something special at the Edmonton Unity Hub.
The cycling hub's range of activities will inspire, educate and entertain young people aged 13-19 (or upto 25 with learning difficulties or disabilities.)
On offer will be Bikeability riding courses, bicycle recycling sessions, repair workshops, volunteering schemes, community and sponsored rides and cycle sport taster sessions. Bikes can be provided for training or loaned in our low cost bike hire scheme.
Edmonton Unity Hub is made up of Craig Park and Croyland Park youth centres. A brand new centre equipped with some great facilities is opening in April 2013.
The youth centre offers a safe, secure and welcoming place for young people to have fun, learn new skills, make new friends and gain recognised qualifications such as the Duke of Edinburgh award.
The benefits of regular cycling are very clear: better health, independent mobility skills and a boost to confidence and self esteem. All these are provided through the opportunities on offer at Edmonton Unity Hub.
For more information or to donate a bicycle, please contact Ola Lawal on 020 8803 8292 or email
