Enfield Council awarded beacon status for Supporting independent living for disabled adults
Recognised by the Beacon Scheme, Enfield Council has been awarded beacon status for excellence and innovation for promoting independent living for all service users with a range of schemes, projects and activities.
The Beacon Scheme is a prestigious award scheme that recognises excellence in local government and is granted to authorities that demonstrate high levels of excellence and innovation within a specific theme chosen by government ministers.
Enfield Council was rated as 'outstanding', achieving top marks in every category we were assessed on. We have been awarded beacon status, recognising our exceptional work in demonstrating a clear vision, excellent services and a willingness to innovate.
