Enfield Early Help
With effect from the 7th October 2013 Enfield are introducing a new process for requesting Early Help.
Below you will be able to download our new 'Enfield Early Help' documentation, The Early Help Form is designed to replace Enfield's existing 'CAF Part 1 template' and the 'Inter-Agency Request for Assessment' form currently used to refer children to Enfield's Children's Social Care Services.
Information should only be shared with the explicit consent of the child and his/her carers unless there is a compelling reason to over-ride this principle.
Exceptional circumstances: Significant harm to infant, child or young person.
If at anytime during the course of the assessment you feel that an infant, child or young person has been harmed or abused or is at risk of harm or abuse, you must follow the Pan-London Safeguarding Procedures as set out in the booklet "What to do if you are worried a child is being abused" (Department of Health 2007)
The Enfield Safeguarding Children's Board have adopted the London Continuum of Care as the working document for use within the SPOE and by all agencies in Enfield. This document will assist all professionals in identifying the most appropriate response to presenting concerns.
