Registered social landlord tenants and housing

Registered social Landlord tenants (also know as Housing Association Tenants) applying for housing and nominations to RSLs when they have vacancies.

RSL tenants can apply to the Council for rehousing. They need to complete a housing assessment form and they will be assessed in accordance with the Council’s point’s scheme. They will be placed on the Transfer and be considered in the same way as Council tenants.
If a household has enough points to be housed by the Council they can be nominated to Registered Social Landlords for vacant properties.

None at initial stage.

Service Level Agreement and Turnaround
Assessment of housing application, where there are no medical conditions, within 15 working days. 4-6 weeks for assessment where medical conditions are involved.
