The Local Development Scheme (LDS)

Enfield's Local Development Scheme (LDS) describes the content and timetable for the production and review of Local Development Documents which together form the LDF. Enfield's first LDS covering a three-year period from 2005 to 2008 was approved by the Council on 26th January 2005 and submitted to the Government Office for London on 4th February 2005. It was formally brought into effect in April 2005. A draft revised LDS for the period 2007-2010 was submitted to the Government Office for London in March 2007 and was formally brought into effect by the Council in August 2007.
