To develop a career in Environmental Health you need to undertake an accredited course that is recognised by the Environmental Health Officers Registration Board, together with a 48 week work experience placement. Local authorities may run appropriate courses and offer placements to students. Service Response Times

When a customer makes a service request they will be advised of which team will be dealing with the request and a worksheet reference number will be given for the customer to follow up his/her enquiry. Customers will normally be notified of the outcome to any investigation We aim to provide an efficient and effective standard of service as it is important that customers receive the best possible service based on the resources available. We will give advice and support to all our customers and act upon information received. Eligibility
