The primary role of the Outreach Team is to initiate, develop and support community involvement in the management and maintenance of Allotments, Cemeteries, Parks and Open spaces and Street scene.

Outreach Team

The primary role of the Parks Outreach Team is to initiate, develop and support community involvement within Parks and Open Spaces in Enfield. The remit of this work includes:

• Contribution to the development of parks strategies and policies.
• Working in partnership with park users and key stakeholders.
• Development, support and facilitation of Friends of Parks Groups.
• Working with the Friends of Parks Groups to identify external funding opportunities and to support the funding application process.
• Working with stakeholders and identifying opportunities to secure external funding.
• Undertaking consultation processes and events with all partners.
• Supporting community involvement/volunteers.
• Promoting activities e.g. walks and talks.
• Assisting in the co-ordination of events in Parks and Open Spaces.
• Enabling and supporting community involvement in the Enfield in Bloom program.
