Join the Parks Outreach Team in this new programme of walks and events in and around Enfield!
• All walks are free!
• All walks are led by an experienced walk leader – just turn up
• Walks are informal and conducted at a leisurely pace
• On linear walks, free transport is provided back to the start point.
• Wear stout clothing & footwear
• Children under 14 years must be accompanied by an adult

Pymmes Park Circular Walk
This 9-mile walk incorporates some of Enfield’s finest urban parks and open spaces, starting and finishing at Pymmes Park. Some of the sites we will be visiting include Grovelands Park, Minchenden Oak Garden and Arnos Park. Bring a packed lunch.

Forty Hall Butterfly & Bird Walk
Join the Herts and Middlesex Butterfly Conservation Group in an informative walk on butterfly behaviour and identification, hopefully with some bird song.
Time: 10.00am till approximately 12.00pm

Join the farm manager of Forty Hall Farm to see how things have progressed since our last visit in 2007.

Trent Country Park Circular Walk
Join us for a stroll around Trent Park. We will be looking at some of the many fascinating (and sometimes surprising) historical aspects of this beautiful country park.
Please Note: Due to the ‘Race for Life’ event, car parking will not be permitted in Trent Park and adjacent neighbourhood from 8.00am till 1.00pm on the day. Visitors are strongly advised to use public transport. Nearest tube: Cockfosters, or bus routes: 298, 299 & 384

Cycle Ride
Join Edmonton Cycling Club for a leisurely ride along the River Lee Towpath, stopping for a pub or café lunch. Beginners are welcome. Bring a spare inner tube and wear a cycling helmet. Persons under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult.

Tatem Park Butterfly & Dragonfly Walk
Join the Herts & Middlesex Butterfly Conservation Group to learn some butterfly & dragonfly identification.

This popular walk takes us through Forty Hall, Gough Park, Hilly Fields and Whitewebbs. We will be looking at various points of historical interest along the way. Bring a packed lunch and wear suitable footwear.

Sunday 20th September ‘09
Albany Park to Trent Park (L.O.O.P.17)
Walk this 9-mile section of the London Outer Orbital Path, through greenbelt country and former Royal hunting grounds. Bring a packed lunch, and be prepared to get a little muddy!
Free Transport is provided back to Albany Park.
Time: 10.00am till approximately 3.00pm
