Forty Hall is a beautiful Grade I listed Jacobean house surrounded by acres of parkland including stunning gardens, wildflower meadows and fishing lakes. It is also home to the archaeological site of Elsyng Palace, Royal Palace to Henry VIII and Elizabeth I.
A variety of wonderful events, many of which are free, regularly take place at Forty Hall. They include an ice rink over Christmas, costumed tours, theatre productions, concerts, children’s activities, gallery exhibitions and more. The newly refurbished café will be opening in September 2006. Temporary catering is provided from a mobile unit for visitors.
