Housing/Council Tax Benefit – How to Apply

If you intend to also claim Income Support or Job Seekers Allowance through your local Job Centre – they will ask you if you want to claim Housing Benefit and or Council Tax benefit at the same time. You do not have to complete a Council Benefit Claim form. Job Centre Plus will send us the claim details. You will however need to provide us with proof or your rent and other information when we request it.
