Host your own event – Event Guidelines
Event organisers are required to complete the following forms:

Event Questionnaire – (1mb PDF)
Event Risk Assessment - (800kb PDF)

These forms are to be returned via email to the Parks Business Unit within the designated notice period set which is 8 weeks for events under 2000 visitors and 3 months for events over 2000 visitors. The event questionnaire needs to be completed ensuring all relevant information and copies of documentation are submitted. Correspondence will be issued confirming or declining the event.

All questionnaires will be individually assessed, however a minimum charge of £100 would normally apply to all events.

Event organisers for the duration of the event should provide and maintain public liability insurance with a limit of indemnity of not less than £5,000,000 (five million pounds only) in respect of any one accident or series of accidents arising as result of the event.
