Provision of an advocate who can act on behalf of a customer who has made a complaint about one or more services provided by the local authority.
The authority has a duty to assist people to make complaints to us. If you have difficulty in expressing your complaint and you would like assistance, we would either be able to assist you ourselves or refer you to an organisation, which has agreed to offer an advocacy service.
