Licences - private hire vehicle (minicab)

Licensing of Private Hire Vehicles (“minicabs”) and Hackney Carriages (“taxis”) is the responsibility of the Public Carriage, part of Transport for London. Both the driver and the vehicle require a separate licence and, for Private Hire i.e. pre-booked work, the Operator (company) needs a licence too.
