Youth Action Volunteering Enfield

YAVE recruits young people aged 16 - 19 from Secondary schools and colleges to volunteering opportunities or projects in the community.

YAVE Youth Workers visit Secondary Schools and arrange volunteering placements that meet the interests and allow young people to take responsibility, contribute to the community and test career options. Each placement is 15hrs.

If you are in education and you live or go to school in the borough and you are aged 16 to 19 YAVE can help you to find a volunteering placement or give you information about volunteering opportunities. To find out when the youth workers will be in your school, or more about volunteering, phone the office number above. There is no charge for joining YAVE.

You can become a Millennium Volunteer if you are 16 to 21 and able to commit up to 200 hrs over a year, contact 020 8366 9546 for more information about this. Youth Clubs will provide safe opportunities for young people aged 13 - 19 to work with others and to contribute to their communities. Contact youthmatters@enfield.gov.uk for information about youth clubs.
