How long does it take?
We aim to process the vast majority of applications within 8 weeks. (An applicant can appeal to the Secretary of State against non-determination after 8 weeks). Our current performance against targets is set out in the following tables. These show continuing improvement, and we are now meeting a number of the targets.

If you require a decision on your application by a specific date, please make this known to the Development Control Manager as soon as possible, preferably before submitting the application, and we will do our best to accommodate your reasonable requirements.
