Public Conveniences

Public Conveniences including Automatic Public Conveniences (APC’s) are provided in our major parks. Where these are provided the Local Authority is also responsible for maintenance and cleaning of the facilities.

Opening and Closing Times
Parks public conveniences are opened in accordance with the Park’s Opening and Closing Timetable and are closed approximately one hour before the identified park closing time. The Automatic Public Conveniences (APC’s) are open 24 hours, 7 days a week.

Cleaning and Maintenance
Parks public conveniences are cleaned daily in the morning with a back-up inspection and clean as required after Midday. This will include re-stocking of toilet paper and refill of soap dispensers.
