Animals - dead - removal | |
|
The local authority will arrange removal of dead animals from all publicly accessible areas. Our street cleansing service operates 24 hours a day Monday to Friday and 6am to 8pm Saturday and Sunday (weekend working is only in town centres etc). In conjunction with the street cleansing and flytip removal programmes, the Council will arrange removal of dead animals from the public highway within an average of 4 hours from report. Specified animals (e.g. dogs) will be reported to the Police. If you live on a Housing estate or in an estate managed by a Housing Association you should report dead animals through your Housing officer or managing agent, alternatively you can contact the Council via 020 8379 1000.
