Business Rates Individual Account Queries

Providing local business with information on how to contact us, how to register for Business Rates and how to pay Business Rates including how to pay by Direct Debit.

The local authority collects business rates on behalf of the Government.

Eligibility
For Individual Account or General enquires please call the Business Rates Team. We can offer help and advice on all aspects of Business Rates. If you move into a property we need this in writing, please download and fill in the business rates information request.

Required Customer Information
We need the Account Number, the address of the property and the person or company responsible for the business rates (the occupier), i.e. the name to appear on the bill.

Service Level Agreement and Turnaround
We aim to deal with your request within ten days but this may not be possible at peak times.
