Shopmobility a free daily loan service of manual or powered wheelchairs, and scooters to anyone whether you are: An older person, a person with any form of mobility difficulty; permanent or just temporary.

Remember - Shopmobility is for anyone, with any form of mobility difficulty

You do not have to be ‘registered disabled’ to use it; you do not have to live within the London Borough of Enfield.

Joining the Scheme - All you need to do is:

Bring along two documents showing your name and address – (a rent or pension book, or bank statement would be fine). Fill in a simple form.

Booking - You can ring in advance to book a wheelchair or scooter.

Both Centres are Open Tuesday to Saturday 9.30am – 5pm. Opening times may be altered on Christmas or Bank Holidays etc.

Using Shopmobility - The first time you use a wheelchair or scooter you will be able to select which one you feel most comfortable with, then you will be shown how to operate it safely by one of our friendly staff.

Returning the Wheelchair or Scooter - When you have finished using the wheel chair or scooter, it must be returned to the Shopmobility centre.
