Learn to Ride a Cycle - Adults - We can teach you to ride a cycle with our especially adapted Bicycle.

Cycle Training on the road for Children and Adults Cycle Training is Free

For children, minimum age 10½ years old and adults.3 x 1- hour lessons.

Conducted anytime ofthe day, throughout the year in daylight hours. All training carried out on the road.

Trained instructors will collect the trainee from his/her house and escort them on the road, within the local area.

The training is on a one-to-one basis and covers a wide variety of road situations as well as incorporating knowledge of the Highway Code and road safety.

The trainee may be expected to complete some work in their own time between training sessions one and two.

Trainees enrolling in the School of Cycling will be expected to be able to ride unaided and have the use of a cycle for the duration of the course.

The cycle used should be in a roadworthy condition and the cycle’s condition will be checked prior to the commencement of the lesson.

If the cycle proves to be un-roadworthy in the instructor’s opinion then the lesson may be cancelled; this may incur a charge.

The trainee will be provided with a fluorescent tabard whilst training, it would be advisable to dress in such a way as to aid conspicuity as well as preparing for inclement weather.

They should wear close fitting trousers, gloves and sturdy leather shoes or trainers whilst under instruction.
